In this story written in first person, we will meet a Cuban American family living in Miami. Sofi, a 7-year-old girl, will introduce us to her parents, great uncle, and aunts, and will show us her love for her family, their traditions and idiosyncrasies. Each chapter will take us to different places, from day-to-day life at Sofi’s home, to the popular Calle Ocho with its famous Viernes culturales and Parque del Dominó. We will see the great relationship between Sofi and her aunts Zulema and Celeste, and how her tío abuelo Ale meets with friends to play domino. At the end, the whole family joins for a birthday party at Miami Beach where Sofi realizes how lucky she is.
