For this Project I was tasked with  simplifying the original illustrations without sacrificing all of the texture and the intention of the original illustrator(Dan Baxter) And of course, adding color.

For the look and feel, we wanted to achieve clean and clear lines, easy to understand, keep some texture and create a cohesive color palette. There are 5 stories per grade (G4 and G5) and we wanted them all to be different but harmonious at the same time.
